Katadyn's SURVIVOR 06 Manual Desalinator / Watermaker

New Old Stock Katadyn/PUR Survivor-06 hand-operated Watermaker. All of the hoses look good but we don't test these as we could no longer sell them as new. It's been in storage for quite a while, so it might need a new membrane. Those are readily available directly from Katadyn and their dealers. This item is being sold as is, with no returns. Will produce up to 6 gallons of drinking water a day.

These normally sell for around $1,000 brand new, but as they were in storage for many years, you can get one for less than $300. Every boat owner needs one, and preppers/survivalists will find them useful also.

LIMITED SUPPLY - we only have few of these left, and may not be able to get more. These are military surplus and when they're sold out you'll only be able to buy the new stock at full $1000 price. Sold AS IS, NO RETURNS Accepted.

About Survivor 06 Desalinator
These are US-engineered and were manufactured for over 10 years by the US company Recovery Engineering, which was purchased by the Swiss corporation Katadyn in 2008. So if yours says Recovery Engineering on it, you have a US-made unit made prior to 2008.

At 2.5 pounds, the Katadyn Survivor 06 is the world's smallest hand-operated desalinator and can easily fit into an emergency kit. It removes bacteria, viruses and other contaminants, and can make 1 ounce of drinking water in less than two minutes (nearly 2 pints per hour) with an average pump rate of 40 strokes per minute. This compact, lightweight unit is designed for one to two person use in liferafts or a ditch bag. It's a trusted device used by the US Navy, US Coast Guard, US Air Force and is essential equipment for any offshore cruising vessel.

The Survivor-35 is capable of providing emergency water for up to 6 people in a multi-person liferaft. Both Katadyn Survivor models are trusted gear used by the US Navy, US Coast Guard, US Air Force, and many sailors around the globe. They are essential equipment for any offshore cruising vessel.
