250 AMP PWM DC MOTOR SPEED CONTROL

18% OFF Special

Sale Ends March 15, 2016
Model: PWM250
Smoothly regulates speed of Permanent Magnet DC Motors and other DC loads, from 0 to 100% of power. Does not work with series-wound motors.
*** See our Series Motor Controllers HERE.  ***

This is a DUAL 125-Amp controller, so you can either connect TWO 125A DC Motors, or ONE 250A DC motor , using TWO sets of cables (to parallel the two 125A outputs). And one Potentiometer controls both outputs. The pot comes with wires attached.

Can be powered from 12, 24, 36, or 48 Volts DC. Uses two large heatsinks.

This powerful controller is great for regulating Powerful Loads in ROBOTICS, GOLF and KID CARTS, ELECTRIC BIKES and SCOOTERS, TROLLING MOTORS, for EXPERIMENTERS, and testing and troubleshooting DC motors.

Simple to use; just connect power, load (motor), and the potentiometer to the screw-in terminals. The terminals accept up to 2 Gauge cables, but for short distances 4 to 8 gauge wires can be used. The potentiometer comes with a cable attached, so no soldering is required.

Specs:
Supply Voltage: 8 to 48 Volts DC

Load Current:  Two output sections, each 125 AMPS Continuously, or both sections (in parallel) for 250 Amps continuously.
Type of Load: Both, resistance and inductive loads

Range of regulation: PWM 0 to 100% of power
Size: 6.8 x 4 x 1.7"
Switching Frequency: 3.5 kHz,
Overheating protection: When the module is overloaded, power is
automatically decreased, in order to protect mosfets from destruction

Will control loads of up to 2 x 9HP or 1 x 18HP
. Comes with instructions.
Will work with Magura Twistgrip throttle and other 5k throttles

This controller can also be used with SHUNT wound Motors. To control the speed, connect the field winding (F1, F2) directly across the battery and drive the armature (A1, A2) from the controller. Please note that it will NOT work with series-wound motors (those with A1,A2 and S1,S2 connections).
