LOW PROFILE 160 AMP PWM DC MOTOR SPEED CONTROL

Model: PWM160

New, POWERFUL Pulse Width Modulation DC Motor speed controller. Only 1.2" high, to fit into small places. Smoothly regulates speed of DC Motors and other DC loads, from 0 to 100% of power.
Does not work with series-wound motors.
*** See our Series Motor Controllers HERE.  ***

This is a DUAL 80-Amp controller, so you can either connect TWO 80A DC Motors, or ONE 160A DC motor , and one Potentiometer controls both outputs. The pot comes with wires attached (not pictured).

Aside from DC motors, it can be used to control brightness of DC light bulbs, temperature of heaters and heating elements, etc. Power output level is set with the enclosed potentiometer, knob is also included.

Can be powered from 12, 24, 36, or 48 Volts DC. Uses two large heatsinks.

This powerful controller is great for regulating Powerful Loads in ROBOTICS, GOLF and KID CARTS, ELECTRIC BIKES and SCOOTERS, TROLLING MOTORS, for EXPERIMENTERS, and testing and troubleshooting DC motors.
The potentiometer comes with a cable attached, so no soldering is required.

Specs:
Supply Voltage:_8 to 48 Volts
DC Load Current: 160 AMPS Continuously, with Resistance and Inductive loads
200 AMPS for short periods of acceleration
Range of regulation: PWM 0 to 100% of power
Size: 6.8 x 3.5 x 1.2"
Switching Frequency: 3.5 kHz
Overheating protection: When the module is overloaded, power is
automatically decreased, in order to protect mosfets from destruction

Will work with Magura Twistgrip throttle and other 5k throttles.
Will control loads of up to 6 KILOWATTS. Comes with instructions.

We also have 250-Amp DC Motor controllers HERE.

This controller can also be used with SHUNT wound Motors. To control the speed, connect the field winding (F1, F2) directly across the battery and drive the armature (A1, A2) from the controller. Please note that it will NOT work with series-wound motors (those with A1,A2 and S1, S2 connections).
