Please note that while these are NEW, because of the long time in storage, they may require a new filter and/or new hoses. Hoses may be yellowed due to long storage. Both are available from Katadyne and other dealers. However we've sold DOZENS of these and no one ever complained about getting a defective one.

About Survivor 35 Desalinator
These are US-engineered and were manufactured for over 10 years by the US company Recovery Engineering, which was purchased by the Swiss corporation Katadyn in 2008. So if yours says Recovery Engineering on it, you have a US-made unit made prior to 2008.
